Dear Golf Enthusiast/Advertiser,

We are pleased to announce that our company, North Superior Publishing Inc., will be publishing the specialty
publication Northwestern Ontario Golfing News., for it’s twelfth season. Golf was, and continues to be, one of
the fastest growing summer sports in North America and represents a tremendous opportunity to market your products and services.

Golfers have been known to be above-average income earners and represent many professionals and business
entrepreneurs. In addition, the average golf profile is broadening quickly to include younger age groups as well as
women who have become extremely interested in the sport.

We will be distributing this publication to the golf courses of Thunder Bay as well as Northwestern Ontario,
ranging from Manitouwadge in the east to Kenora in the west. In addition, this publication will be available many
of the Minnesota and Wisconsin golf courses. The proximity of these courses makes for a great get away for both Canadian and American golfers. We estimate there are approximately 5,000 - 7,000 golfers who are members of these clubs and are avid enthusiasts for the game. In addition, there is probably 8000+ who are casual golfers and pay daily green fees.

This golfing market purchases many products and services including golf equipment, clothing, green fees at
other courses, and entertainment services such as restaurants, hotels and motels. In addition, we feel this audience is an excellent one for purchasing products such as investment services, automobiles and travel.

We have enclosed a copy of our 2008 Rate Card which provides size information and costs. In 2006 we will
have four issues, from May to August. Editorially wise, this publication will talk about what’s happening in the world of golf in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Northwestern Ontario. We will have feature articles on successful golfers in our region, information on new equipment from local pros, tournament schedules and results, club news from around the region, golf fitness stories, golf tips as well as travel information. We plan to do in depth course reviews of golf courses in our area and abroad. If you would like to have your course featured in an upcoming issue please contact me.

One of my main interests in doing this publication, is that I am an avid golfer who is extremely interested
in the game. I started golfing in 1975 and continue to play golf and improve each year. We all know that this is a
very fun sport that many people enjoy and we hope our publication will further the growth and development of golf
in Northwestern Ontario. I look forward to hearing from you with any comments about our publication and welcome
your involvement in Northwestern Ontario Golfing News..
