| We are pleased to announce that our company, North Superior Publishing Inc., will be publishing the
specialty publication Northwestern Ontario Snowmobile News, for its fifteenth season. Snowmobiling
has, and continues to be, one of the fastest growing winter sports in Canada and represents a tremendous
opportunity to market your products and services.
Snowmobilers have been known to be above-average income earners and represent many professionals
and business entrepreneurs. In addition, the average snowmobile profile is broadening quickly to include
older age groups as well as women, who have become extremely interested in the sport.
Northwestern Ontario Snowmobile News will be distributed in Thunder Bay as well as in Northwestern
Ontario, ranging from Manitouwadge in the east to Kenora in the west. In addition, this publication will
be available in Minnesota from Duluth on north.
This snowmobile market purchases many products and services including snowmobiles, clothing, parts
and service, and entertainment services such as restaurants, hotels and motels. In addition, we feel this
audience is an excellent one for purchasing products such as investment services, automobiles and travel.
In 2011/2012 we will have five issues, from October to February.
Editorially wise, this publication will talk about what's happening in the world of snowmobiling in
Northwestern Ontario. We will have feature articles on successful snowmobilers in our region, information
on new equipment, race schedules and results, club news from around the region, as well as travel
information.
One of my main interests in doing this publication, is that I am an avid snowmobiler, who is extremely
interested in the sport. I started snowmobiling in 1969 and continue actively in the sport today, riding from
2000 to 4000 miles per season in Northwestern Ontario. We all know that this is a very fun sport that many
people enjoy and we hope our publication will further the growth and development of snowmobiling in
Northwestern Ontario. I look forward to hearing from you with any comments about our publication and
welcome your involvement in Northwestern Ontario Snowmobile News.
